Did This Candy Company Release the Lightest Power Bank Ever?


bIn 2020, a Redditor with a since-deleted account created a spreadsheet comparing 85 different power banks. Two years later, they came back and updated the sheet to include the latest additions to the market at that time.

Unfortunately for us, the Redditor seems to have abandoned the project. However, its scoring criteria is still a great way to judge power banks entering the market in 2025. And boy, do we have an interesting contender.

Gummy Bear power bank enters the market

At first glance, the Haribo-branded power bank and accompanying mini power bank are nothing special; white bricks with a fake gummy bear on/off switch and a colorful USB-C cable attached. However, the specifications reveal that these small banks put some of the higher caliber power banks on the market to shame.

Both batteries rival the power output of the Nitecore banks while managing to reduce weight. and price. Created by Hong Kong DC Global, the 10.1-ounce, 20,000 mAh Haribo power bank model was sold under the German gummy bear brand for just $22 as part of a crowdfunding project. How to rate a power bank
