Pep Guardiola, one of the best managers in the history of football, is ready for his thousandth game as his current team. Manchester City will take on Liverpool in a Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Spaniard started his coaching career with Barcelona B in 2007 and won twelve domestic league titles with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and City, as well as three Champions Leagues and numerous other cups.
Guardiola, who has won 715 games from his first 999, was inducted into the League Managers Association (LMA) Hall of Fame 1,000 Club, along with 38 other managers who have worked in England, including Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.
