Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is on the verge of reaching a career milestone of 1,000 games as a manager when his side take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Spaniard’s first job in the dugout was with Barcelona’s B team before taking up the main job at Camp Nou, before moving to German giants Bayern Munich and then City.
The 54-year-old former Barcelona and Spain midfielder has won 715 of his 999 games to date and has received multiple honors at all the clubs he has managed.
Guardiola’s 549 games at Man City rank only second in the club’s history, behind Scot Les McDowall.
