Haiti defeated Nicaragua 2-0 to qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the second time ever on Tuesday at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad, Curacao.
Louicius Deedson found the net earlier in the eighth minute while Ruben Providence doubled the lead in first half stoppage time. The victory ensured Haiti’s first appearance in the FIFA World Cup since 1974.
