Odisha FC and Sergio Lobera part ways after mutual agreement

Odisha FC and head coach Sergio Lobera mutually agreed to part ways on Wednesday.

The Bhubaneswar-based Indian Super League (ISL) club announced the news on social media.

The Spanish tactician joined Odisha FC on May 17, 2023 and took it to the 2024 Super Cup final where it was defeated by East Bengal.

The club has also said it is “waiting for clarity on the competition and will make an announcement on the new head coach accordingly.”

Odisha FC is one of the three ISL clubs that have temporarily suspended their activities due to the uncertainty surrounding the start of the top-flight competition.
