Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo will be on the sidelines for a month after dislocating his shoulder, the club said on Wednesday.
«Olmo suffered a dislocation in his left shoulder during yesterday’s match against Atletico Madrid,» Barca said in a statement.
«Following the tests carried out, conservative treatment was chosen. The recovery time is approximately one month.»
Spain international Olmo suffered the injury when he fell while scoring in Tuesday’s 3-1 La Liga win over Atletico to move Barca four points clear at the top of the table.
The 27-year-old has had several injury problems since joining the Catalan giants from RB Leipzig in 2024.
Olmo joins Fermin Lopez, Gavi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen on the sidelines ahead of a key Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt next week.
