Hyderabad is gearing up to host Lionel Messi’s GOAT Tour of India on Saturday. The Argentine legend will perform at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the evening, where he will feature in a 7v7 practice match in a packed programme.
The exhibition event will have two teams, one led by Messi and the other by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Organizers have limited the permitted capacity for the event to 31,000 to avoid overcrowding at the Uppal Stadium. This caution also helped the venue reach Gachibowli Stadium, the city’s traditional football venue.
Tickets for the event, available only online, are priced between Rs. 2,000 and approximately Rs. 75,000 depending on seating. They are on sale until Saturday afternoon.
