Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank said there is no quick fix to his side’s problems but he retains the support of the club’s board.
After a promising start to the Dane’s tenure, Tottenham have dropped to 11th in the Premier League, having been beaten 3-0 at Nottingham Forest last time out.
Liverpool’s visit to north London on Saturday may not evoke the fear it did 12 months ago as the Reds stormed to a 6-3 victory on their way to winning the title.
But Spurs have won just once on home soil in the league since the opening weekend of the season.
“I would like to say to the Spurs fans that it is a privilege to be part of this fantastic club with fantastic potential. We want to make that happen. I work 24/7 to make sure everything goes well,” said Frank.
«The best teams create an endurance that makes them very resistant to setbacks. We are working hard on that. That is not a quick solution.»
Management changes have been a constant in Tottenham’s quest for success in recent years.
Even ending the club’s 17-year wait to win a trophy couldn’t save Ange Postecoglou at the end of last season.

There have already been some calls for Frank to join Spurs, but he said it will take a team effort to turn their fortunes around.
«I feel supported. I’ve felt that all the time. My thoughts haven’t changed. We’re building. I’ve said it many times, I’m the most critical of myself, but we have a lot of people who need to perform,» Frank added.
«I feel very comfortable and confident that I will solve it, but it is not up to me. If this club comes out on top, there will be a lot of good people working together and staying on the same page for years to come.»
