Who organizes AFCON 2025?

Twenty-four teams from across Africa will now compete for the continental crown, the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on December 21.

Morocco will host the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2025, which will continue until January 18. Nine venues in six cities will host the continental tournament, with 24 teams competing in 52 matches for the coveted title.

It is the second time that Morocco hosts the Africa Cup of Nations. The last time AFCON was there was in 1988.
