India’s position remains unchanged, with the country still ranked 142nd in the latest FIFA rankings published on Monday.
The Blue Tigers dropped six places in the FIFA rankings published on November 20 after a dismal performance in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, where they failed to win a single match in their five matches.
The lowest FIFA ranking India has achieved is 173 in March 2015.
The setback adds to wider concerns in the domestic game, where the future of the Indian Super League remains unclear.
