Santosh Trophy 2025-26 wrap-up, December 22: Odisha defeats Madhya Pradesh; Services, Telangana secures wins

Odisha, Telangana and Services all registered victories in their group stage matches of the Santosh Trophy 2025-26 on Monday. December 22.

Odisha defeated Madhya Pradesh 4-0, while Telangana and Services defeated Chhattisgarh and Karnataka 2-1 respectively. Lakshadweep and Goa also played out a 1-1 draw.

Thirty-five teams will compete in the group stage from December 15 to 26, divided into nine groups, eight with four teams and one with three.

The group winners, along with hosts Assam, defending champions West Bengal and runners-up Kerala, will participate in the 12-team final round in Dhakuakhana and Dhemaji.
