Uttarakhand defeated Uttar Pradesh 2-0 on Thursday to maintain a perfect record in the 2025-2026 Santosh Trophy and qualify for the final round.
Two goals in five minutes, from Shashwant Panwar (60′) and Rajender Singh Bairola (90+6′), sealed the win for Uttarakhand. It qualified for the final round with nine points and three clean sheets.
In the other Group B match, Haryana edged Chandigarh 2-0 to finish in second place with four points from three matches.
The group winners will join hosts Assam, defending champions West Bengal and runners-up Kerala in the final round in Dhakuakhana and Dhemaji.
