Nearly six months ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the original Football World Cup trophy arrived in India on Sunday for a three-day tour in New Delhi.
The FIFA World Cup Trophy has come to India after a gap of almost 12 years as part of its world tour.
The trophy was unveiled at a ceremony in the presence of former World Cup winner Gilberto D’Silva of Brazil and Minister of Youth and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya.
Besides Delhi, where the trophy will last for two days, the trophy will also visit Guwahati in Assam.
