Morocco and Senegal will look to add a second Africa Cup of Nations title to their cabinets as they face each other in the final of the latest edition at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Hosts Morocco are undefeated in two years since going to South Africa in the last 16 from the last AFCON in Ivory Coast, and are captained by current African Footballer of the Year, Achraf Hakimi.
The host could not have asked for a stronger opponent than Senegal, who are Africa’s second-best team in the rankings and are in their third final in four editions of AFCON.
Will there be extra time and penalties if the AFCON 2025 final between Senegal and Morocco ends in a draw?
If the scores are level after 90 minutes in the AFCON 2025 final, two 15-minute extra periods will be played.
If the teams are still tied after extra time, a penalty will be awarded.
