Birchwood Biography
Welcome to my blog! My name is Birchwood and I will be attempting to hike the Appalachian Trail in 2026. I love hiking, camping, observing the flora and fauna of the trail ecosystems, meeting new people on the trails, and experiencing trail towns. I have hiked the Colorado Trail (2025), Kekekabic Trail (2024), Pictured Rocks (2023), Isle Royale (2022), and Superior Hiking Trail (2021). Additionally, I have hiked sections of the PCT (2024), the Border Trail (2024), the North Country Trail (2023), the Ice Age Trail (2022-25), and the Great Wall of China (2017).
