The Indian senior women’s football team played a goalless draw against Russia’s WFC Spartak Moscow in a friendly match in Antalya on Friday.
India will play three more friendlies against European clubs as part of the ongoing preparatory camp in Turkiye ahead of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in March.
The Blue Tigers will next face Hertha BSC Frauen from Germany, followed by matches against Russia’s Zvezda-2005 Perm and Romania’s FK Csíkszereda Miercurea Ciuc.
India had previously played two friendlies, losing 0-2 to Ukrainian side FC Metalist 1925 on January 18, before beating Swiss side FC Schlieren 2-1 on January 24.
The team will leave Turkiye for Perth, Australia on February 10, where it will play more friendly matches in the run-up to the continental tournament.
India’s first match of the Asian Cup is against Vietnam on March 4.
