NorthEast United squad for ISL 2025-26: Complete list of players, foreign signings

NorthEast United will clinch a first-ever Indian Super League (ISL) title as the 2025-26 season kicks off on Saturday after months of uncertainty.

The Highlanders will start their campaign against East Bengal on February 16 at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

The Juan Pedro Benali-coached side finished third in the standings last season before crashing out in the play-offs against Jamshedpur FC. It then defended its Durand Cup title after beating Diamond Harbor 6-1 in the final.

However, NEUFC will be without last season’s Golden Boot winner Alaeddine Ajaraie and will be loaned out to Indonesian side Persija Jakarta for the remainder of the 2025-2026 season.
