Odisha FC and Inter Kashi FC played out a goalless draw at the Kalinga Stadium on Tuesday, February 24. Odisha FC played their first match of the season and Inter Kashi FC, building on their encouraging league debut, were evenly matched throughout. Despite chances on both sides, neither side could find the breakthrough as the match ended in the first stalemate of the season.
Despite nine attempts from Odisha and eight from Inter Kashi, only two shots on target were registered by each side. Rahul KP of Odisha was adjudged Player of the Match.
The visitor started cheerfully. In the opening minute, Inter Kashi midfielder Tomba Singh forced Odisha custodian Amrinder into a sharp low save from range.
Odisha responded around the fifteen-minute mark when Rahul KP fired over from long range after a quick transition initiated by Lalthhanga Khawlhring. Shortly afterwards, Suhair VP headed towards Odisha from close range after a steady throw from Isak Vanlalruatfela.
Midway through the first half, Thoiba Singh won a free-kick for the hosts on the right and later headed narrowly wide after a throw from Khawlhring. Suhair once again failed to hit the target from another set-piece situation. On the other hand, Planas saw an attempt from close range blocked by the defense.

Just before half-time, Vanlalruatfela tested Lluis Tarrés with a low goal from distance, but the Inter Kashi keeper rallied comfortably as the sides entered the interval level.
Early in the second half, Inter Kashi striker Rohit Danu had a header blocked in the penalty area. Just after the hour mark, Vanlalruatfela came closest for the Juggernauts, but his left-footed effort from a tight angle was blocked by defender David Humanes.
In the 73rd minute, Danu dragged a shot wide from the left after being picked out by Prasanth Mohan. Deep into stoppage time he tried another attempt from distance, which just sailed over the crossbar.
Both teams pushed forward in the final ten minutes, with Inter Kashi threatening more. However, neither could add the finishing touches as the match ended goalless with both sides sharing the spoils.
