Premier League giants Manchester United could spend a total of £37 Million (approximately Rs. 457 Crore) on bringing in Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim and firing him earlier this season, according to BBC.
The 41-year-old was signed from Sporting CP in November 2024 to replace Erik ten Hag, with United paying the Portuguese club £11 million, while handing out £10.4 million in compensation to the departing Ten Hag.

On Wednesday, United said it turned a profit in the second quarter as cost-cutting measures began to pay off, although lower sponsorship revenues and ticket sales after missing European competitions kept profits in check.
United reported a net profit of £4.2m for the quarter ending December 31, compared with a loss of £27.7m a year earlier.
The club maintained its annual revenue forecast of between £640 million and £660 million, and profits of £180 million to £200 million.
