Defending Indian Super League Cup winners Mohun Bagan Super Giant defeated rivals Mohammedan SC in the first Kolkata Derby of the SL 2025-26 at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan on Saturday.
Mohun Bagan were dominant from the start, with 30-year-old Brazilian Robson Robinho scoring two goals within the first 30 minutes of the match. Jamie Maclaren, who has found the net in the last two games since the start of the season, was on the scoresheet again.

Manvir found the net with a diving header before Dimitri Petratos, who was on the scoresheet against Chennaiyin FC, scored the fifth of the night for Mohun Bagan Super Giant wsx4.
The loss leaves Mohammedan SC at the bottom of the table with three defeats in the three matches played. Lalthankima Rotluanga scored the only goal for Mohammedan.
