Al Nassr came back from a goal down to beat Al Fayha 3-1 in their 2025-2026 Saudi Pro League match at the Majmaah Sports City Stadium on Saturday.
Sadio Mane and Abdullah Al-Hamdan scored for the visitor, and an own goal from Al Fayha goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera helped Al Nassr take all three points after defender Abdulelah Al-Amri also scored an own goal in first-half stoppage time.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo had a night to forget as he missed from the spot early in the match before walking off injured in the final minutes.
Al Nassr came into the match on an eight-match winning streak in the league and dominated proceedings from the start. Al Nassr’s early pressure paid off when Mohamed Simakan was brought down in the penalty area by Mikel Villanueva in the eighth minute.

Ronaldo got to the spot, but couldn’t score his 22nd league goal of the season as his shot dragged wide of the left post.
It was Al Fayha who finally took the lead in the second minute of extra time after Rakan Kaabi’s cross from the right side of the penalty area was bundled into his own net by Al Amri while attempting to clear the ball.
Mane leveled matters in the 72nd minute from a Kingsley Coman cross, before Joao Felix’s shot from outside the penalty area hit the left post, bounced off Al Fayha goalkeeper Mosquera and ended up in the back of the net eight minutes later.
Substitute Al Hamdan stopped the game in the 85th minute with an easy finish in front of goal.
Despite the win, Al Nassr will be wary of Ronaldo’s fitness after the 41-year-old was replaced by Al Hamdan in the 81st minute before undergoing treatment on his hamstring.
The result returned Al Nassr to the top of the standings with 61 points from 24 matches, two ahead of Al Ahli in second place.
