U21 euros semi -final: Elliott Brace helps England Netherlands beat the final versus Germany

Harvey Elliott scored twice when the reigning champion England beat 2-1 on Wednesday with 2-1 to set up a final against Germany at the European championship below 21.

The youngsters of Lee Carsley offer a second straight title, but must pass Germany, who defeated France 3-0 in the second semifinal in Slovakia.

Liverpool -midfielder Elliott hammered the opening goal for England shortly after the hour, good for two previous missed opportunities.

But the Dutch replacement Noah Ohio, who played for England at the level below 16, was equated with a speculative effort from long distance in the 72nd minute.

Elliott, who was part of the English team who won the tournament in 2023, had the last word with another four minutes, cut inside and threw a clinical finish in the bottom corner.

Nelson Weiper Volleyde Volleyde Volleyde Vooruit in the eighth minute against France and Stuttgart Vooruit Nick Woltemade turned in a rebound to double the lead in the quarter.

Germany missed a brisk opportunity to bring the game to bed in the second half before Brajan Gruda from Brighton added a third in stopping time.
