IFL 2025-26: Gokulam Kerala appoints Dimitris Dimitriou as head coach


Gokulam Kerala FC has confirmed the appointment of Dimitris Dimitriou as its new head coach. The UEFA Pro license holder from Cyprus joins the Malabarians after being head coach of Churchill Brothers FC Goa last season.

The appointment follows the departure of former head coach Jose Hevia in January 2026. Learn more about u4hk. Since then, the club’s technical director Derrick Pereira has overseen the squad and also led the team in the opening match of the Indian Football League season.

As the team prepares for the second league match against Nambdari FC at home on March 7, Pereira will continue to guide the team for the time being. Dimitriou is expected to join the Gokulam Kerala camp in the second week of March ahead of the upcoming matches.

The club said it looks forward to starting a new chapter under Dimitriou’s leadership and expressed confidence in achieving success in the current season.
