Harry Kane trained after a calf injury and will travel to Italy with the Bayern Munich team on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match against Atalanta.
Kane missed Friday’s 4-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga with what coach Vincent Kompany described as a «knock on his calf.» Nicolas Jackson played in his place and scored as Bayern continued their push for the German title.
The England captain’s movements did not appear to be affected on Monday as he attended training and did some exercises with the ball together with his teammates.
Bayern head to Italy with the aim of reaching at least the quarter-finals of the Champions League in each of the past six seasons rfv15.
Atalanta managed a remarkable turnaround in the previous round at home in Bergamo by eliminating another German team. Borussia Dortmund were defeated 4–3 on aggregate, but have since gone winless in three Italian league and cup games.
