After the departure of the long-term coach Thomas Frank to Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford Set-piece Coach Keith Andrews, who has no previous managing experience experience, promoted to the top post.
The London side has been a fixture when increasing from the inside, in which each of the last five promotion-winning managers promoted from the arrangement of the club.
Andrews, who made 35 performances for Ireland, started his coaching career as an assistant manager at MK Dons, where he finished playing in 2015 before he arrived at the Ireland under-21 setup as assistant coach for Stephen Kenny.
Kenny became manager of the senior side of Ireland in 2020 and took Andrews, where she both stayed until Kenny’s contract ended three years later, but Andrews was in a new service in a matter of weeks.

Andrews joined the coaching staff of Sheffield United when Chris Wilder took over in December 2023, with the Irishman left at the end of the season to take on his role in Brentford.
«He is someone we have known for a while and always in mind for a role in the future,» said Brentford director of Football Phil Giles at the time of the appointment.
While Frank Assistant coach of the first team Justin Cochrane, head of athletic performance Chris Haslam and first team analyst Joe Newton, took andrews on Brentford, perhaps an indication of his future in the club.
