Everton Captain Seamus Coleman signed up a one-year contract extension, the Premier League club announced on Friday.
The 36-year-old Ireland International signed the deal only three days before his previous contract ended. Despite the suffering of a dijing injury during the last match of Everton in Goodison Park last month, the defender is expected to be fit for next season.
Coleman joined the Merseyside Club of Sligo Rovers in 2009, making him currently the longest serving player at a club in the Premier League.
