Spain was due to play a friendly against Serbia after the cancellation of Finalissima

The winner of the European Championship 2024, the Spanish national football team, will play in a friendly match against the Serbian national football team on March 27, replacing the Finalissima match against the Argentina national football team in Qatar, which was partly canceled due to the war in the Middle East.

“The national team will travel to the city of Castellon to face the Balkan team in a demanding match,” the Royal Spanish Football Federation said in a statement on Monday.

The match will be played at the Estadio de la Ceramica.

Spain was supposed to face Lionel Messi’s Argentina in Doha, but due to the war caused by the US-Israeli attacks on Iran on February 28, organizers looked for a new location or date.
