The Premier League away limit will remain in place for another two seasons

Premier League clubs unanimously agreed on Thursday to extend the current £30 ($40) limit on away match prices for a further two seasons, the league said in a statement. This means that the limit will be in effect for twelve consecutive campaigns.

Since the introduction of the ceiling in 2016, it has contributed to attendance at away games, from 82 percent to 91 percent.

“Away fans help create the incredible atmosphere that Premier League matches are known for,” the league said in a statement.

“The Premier League and clubs also recognize the additional costs associated with traveling to follow their teams across the country.”
