The top two teams of the Premier League season – Arsenal and Manchester City – will face each other in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 22.
Mikel Arteta’s men have had a memorable season so far. They sit well at the top of the Premier League standings and will be looking to continue the same form in Sunday’s final. Pep Guardiola’s side are currently second in the standings, nine points behind their opponents with a game in hand.
While the last meeting between the two sides resulted in a 1-1 draw in a Premier League match in September 2025, City have come out on top in all previous meetings against the Gunners in the Carabao Cup: a 4-1 quarter-final win in 2020/21 and a 2-0 win in the 2018 final.
