A second-half brace from Braian Sanchez helped Bengaluru FC to a 3-1 win over Inter Kashi in an Indian Super League 2025-26 match at Kishore Bharati Krirangan on Sunday.
Earlier in the first half, Ashique Kuruniyan put Bengaluru ahead before Alfred Planas equalized for Inter Kashi.
The Blues climbed to fourth in the standings with eleven points from six games, while Inter Kashi remained eleventh with five points. Sánchez was named Player of the Match for his match-winning performance.
Renedy Singh’s side made a strong start and dominated possession in the opening exchanges. Left winger Ashique tested Lluis Tarrés in the 10th minute, while midfielders Sirojiddin Kuziev and Sánchez both went close with long-range efforts shortly afterwards.
The visitor was rewarded with a moment of individual brilliance in the 20th minute. Dispossessing Inter Kashi captain Sumeet Passi, Ashique drove forward with purpose and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike into the top left corner to put Bengaluru 1-0 ahead.
Bengaluru continued to press, with Tarrés producing a fine save to deny them a second before Namgyal Bhutia was marked offside. However, Inter Kashi found a way back into the match in the 38th minute. Planas finished clinically from the penalty area to level the score at 1-1.

Before half-time, both teams went forward, but neither could find the breakthrough as the first half ended in balance.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Bengaluru looking to regain control as Inter Kashi threatened on the counter. Planas had an early chance after the restart, while Sunil Chhetri tested Tarrés and later headed narrowly wide as the visitors piled on the pressure.
Inter Kashi came close to Prasanth Mohan in the 65th minute, but his header went wide. Moments later, Bengaluru took the lead again in the 69th minute. Tarrés failed to hit the ball from Kuziev’s free kick, allowing Sánchez to head into an unguarded net to make it 2-1.
Bengaluru looked to extend their lead in the closing stages, with Vinith Venkatesh and Kuziev both missing the target from distance. Inter Kashi continued to search for an equalizer, with Rohit Danu coming close late on, but the hosts were unable to find the finishing touch.
Deep into stoppage time, Bengaluru sealed the result. Tarrés passed the ball to Sánchez, who capitalized from long range to score his second of the evening and make it 3-1 in the final minutes. The final whistle confirmed a convincing win for Bengaluru, who secured three points on the road and continued their strong performance in the competition.
