The Indian women’s football team will participate in the 2026 FIFA Series that will take place in Kenya in April.
This will be the second edition of the international friendly initiative after its debut in 2024, and will consist of four groups of four, with one country hosting all matches.
India will play after a fourth women’s group was added to the fixture list in Kenya on Tuesday, while Australia and Malawi will also compete in the group. The matches will be held at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya.

What is the format for Women’s FIFA Series 2026?
Despite being a friendly competition, the participating member associations (PMAs) have agreed on different competition formats for the 2026 FIFA Series: semi-finals and a final, or pre-arranged matches.
The Indian group has opted to follow the first format and will take on Kenya on April 11, from where it will play a final or a third-place play-off on April 15, depending on the result.
In the event of a draw, the match goes directly to a penalty shootout and no extra time is played. Regardless of the format, each group will crown one winner.
