Bangladesh doubles two-goal lead to lose to Thailand in 2026 AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup

Bangladesh squandered a two-goal lead to lose 2-3 to hosts Thailand in the opening match of the 2026 AFC Under-20 Women’s Asian Cup at Thammasat Stadium on Wednesday rfcd.

This is Bangladesh’s first appearance in the Asian Cup after qualifying as one of the top two teams in its group last August.

The team is placed in Group A in this tournament together with China and Vietnam. China currently tops the group after beating Vietnam 3-0.
