Hot Mess store site

Hot Mess’s foot was more swollen and painful this morning. But at this point, I was familiar with how to use ibuprofen, Tylenol and its shoe to mitigate pain. Then she could walk. And with the promise to applaud while heading to Kennedy Meadows, it was motivated.

Swimming on the Kern River

Another thing that the disaster that was really waiting was to swim in a river. A good part of our walk was along the Kern River. When I was ahead of her, I explored a good entrance place to go swimming. The river was cold, clear and refreshing. But the lower part was sandy, steep and unstable, so it would slide when you tasted. So Hot Mess had a little difficulty again.

Looking back in our swimming location

700 mile marker

Shortly after swimming, we arrived at the 700 mile score on the side of the path. That was especially satisfactory for hot disorder, quantifying how far he walked before having to leave the road

Hot Mess and I was not sure where the applause was: at the camp, the general store or in Grumpy Bear’s. When the path crossed the road, the camp was in one direction and the general store and the Bear Gruñones were a different direction. We guess the general store and start walking along the way. I walked ahead to minimize the distance Hot Mess had been walking if we were wrong.

When I approached the entrance road, everyone in the store began to applaud. Unable to see the store still, Hot Mess shouted me, wondering if they were applauding me. I pointed out that they were. Then the crowd recognized me and listened: «Oat tea, sing a song.» So I sang oatmeal tea while walking/danced on the other side of the parking lot.

I am still surprised how Hot Mess managed to walk to Kennedy Meadows. And see his reaction to obtain applause made it clear that the spiritual decision was adequate for her.

Hot Mess obtaining applause

Once there, I quickly tried to explain the circumstances of Hot Mess and asked them to be stronger. When Hot Mess folded the corner and began the applause, he began to cry. Swoop and I went out to greet her while she was overwhelmed by the emotion to get the applause

For me, Kennedy Meadows felt like a great meeting. I met people from so many groups with whom I have walked. I felt that I was constantly catching up with them.
I felt that I constantly had conversations to catch up with people.

Hot Mess, SWP, and I hung around the store for a couple of hours, we drink a couple of drinks and then take the grumpy bears. There, we had lunch and ate conversations with many groups.

SWP loaded in Grumpy Bear’s

We take shows, we had dinner there and spend the night in the camp area in Grumpy Bear’s.
