Northast United FC announced the signing of the Spanish attacking midfielder Jose Manuel ‘CHEM’ NUNEZ for the coming season 2025–26, with an option to expand another year.

Who is NUNEZ CHema, the newest signing of NeUFC?
Chema, 27, joins the Highlanders of the Spanish outfit Antequera CF, who entails a mix of creativity, vision and attacking flair.
A product from Sevilla FC’s Youth Academy, CHEMAS has previously represented clubs such as Albacete and Real Betis ‘B’ and has gained valuable experience within the very competitive Spanish football ecosystem.
In the 2024–25 season, Chema played in more than 3000 minutes in the Primera Federacion (third level of Spanish football), with one goal and 10 assists.
It is expected that CHEM will join the NEFC team when the team will start its preseason in Guwahati on July 13 in Guwahati.
