Chelsea has confirmed the signing of the Brazilian attacker Joao Pedro from Premier League -Rival Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old attacker has a long-term agreement with the blues that runs until 2033, and joins the team immediately before our FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals against Palmeiras.
A product of Brazilian giant Fluminense, Pedro came forward for the first time as a teenager with flair and a natural eye for goal. He scored 10 times in 36 games for the Rio Club before he made the leap to English football.
His journey continued in Watford, where he made an impression under four seasons with 109 performances, 24 goals.
In 2023 he signed for Brighton and scored on his debut and went off a striking campaign with 19 goals in all competitions, ending as the joint-top scorer of the Seagulls.
