The first phase of the 2025-2026 Indian Football League (which spanned 45 matches) officially came to an end on Sunday, finalizing the standings as the league splits into two phases.
Diamond Harbor FC finished top with 22 points, building a five-point lead.
On the final matchday, Real Kashmir FC defeated Sreenidi Deccan FC 2-0, while Rajasthan United FC registered a 2-1 comeback win against Dempo SC.

Diamond Harbor (22 points) is joined in the top six of the championship stage by Shillong Lajong FC (17 points), Rajasthan United FC (17 points), Sreenidi Deccan FC (15 points), Chanmari FC (11 points) and Dempo Sports Club (9 points), all of whom will compete for the 2025-2026 Indian Football League title.

Conversely, the bottom four teams will enter the relegation phase where they will fight to secure their position. This group includes Aizawl FC (9 points), Real Kashmir FC (8 points), Gokulam Kerala FC (8 points) and Namdhari FC (7 points).
IFL 2025-26 format
The championship round will be played in a single round-robin format, and the club with the highest points will be declared the winner. In the championship round, the clubs transfer the points from the first phase.
The club that was higher in the rankings in the first phase will play at home against a lower-ranked team in the championship round.
The bottom two finishers in the relegation phase, after a single round-robin format, will be relegated to I-League 2.
