Paris Saint-Germain will be without Vitinha until at least the end of the week after the Portuguese midfielder suffered a right heel injury during a 2-1 defeat to Lyon in Ligue 1 last weekend.
PSG said Vitinha is sidelined with inflammation in his right heel after suffering a blow during the match.
«Vitinha will undergo treatment in the coming days. A further assessment will take place at the end of this week,» the club said in a statement.

Despite the defeat, PSG remained at the top of the standings, one point ahead of Lens with a game in hand. However, the team is still due to travel to Lens in May after their April 11 match was postponed due to PSG’s involvement in the Champions League.
PSG next host Nantes in Ligue 1 on Wednesday before traveling to Angers on Saturday.
