Mohammedan Sporting Club twice came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw against Sporting Club Delhi in their Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-2026 match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday.
The result means that Mohammedan takes his third point in a row, bringing the total from ten games to three. However, they remain at the bottom of the table while SC Delhi moves to 10th place with nine points from as many matches.
SC Delhi started in the foreground, dominating possession and pushing Mohammedan deep into their own half in the early exchanges. The pressure paid off in the 17th minute when Mohammed Aimen fouled Mohammedan goalkeeper Padam Chhetri in the penalty area, and Matija Babovic stepped up to calmly convert from the spot to give the hosts the lead.
The home side continued to exert control, with Aimen and Augustine Lalrochana orchestrating the attacks, while Mohammedan struggled to build momentum. After the drinks break, however, the visitor gradually grew into the match and showed more calmness in possession.

Mohammedan leveled matters in the 40th minute with a moment of sharp awareness from striker Thokchom Adison Singh. A long ball from Makan Chothe caught the defense off guard, and as goalkeeper Nora Fernandes raced out to clear, Adison calmly took the ball past him before finishing emphatically into an open net to restore parity.
SC Delhi regained momentum quickly after the restart as Lalrochana’s shot was parried by Chettri. However, the ball fell kindly for Babovic, who reacted quickest and scored his second goal of the evening.
Undeterred, Mohammedan continued to press and was rewarded again in the 65th minute. From a short corner a cross was provided by Lalngaihsaka from the right, Hira Mondal stood unmarked at the far post and headed a header into the top corner to level the scores again.
Despite continued attacking intent from both teams in the closing stages, neither side could find the decisive goal as defensive resilience and goalkeeping on both sides saw the points shared.
