Hercules hit a 70th minute winner when the Brazilian Fluminense already defeated Hilal in Saudi Arabia on Friday to reach the semi-final of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

A fine left-hand foot finish by Matheus Martinelli had put the Rio club forward in the 40th minute, but Al Hilal’s Brazilian attacker Marcos Leonardo was leveling six minutes in the second half.
In the last four, Fluminense will be confronted with the winner of the other quarterfinals on Friday between his fellow countryman Palmeiras and Chelsea in England.
