Who qualified for Women’s AFC Asian Cup 2026?

The AFC Women’s Asian Cup is all ready to be played in Australia next year and almost all teams for the tournament will be confirmed.

The tournament will serve as the final phase of Asian qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2027 in Brazil.

For the first time, the Asian Cup will also serve as the penultimate phase of the Asian qualification for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028, whereby the quarterfinalists are eligible for the 2028 qualification tournament of 2028 AFC Women’s Olympic.

On Saturday, India became the last participant in the Asian Cup, who qualified for the first time on merit by beating Thailand with a higher ranked.

This is followed by the teams that have qualified for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup:

• Japan

• North -Korea

• China

• South Korea

• Vietnam

• Philippines

• Chinese Taipei

• Uzbekistan

• India

• Bangladesh

Eleven of the 12 teams for the Asian Cup are confirmed with the only place left for the winner of Group A, which consists of Jordan, Bhutan, Lebanon, Singapore and Iran. The matches of group A had to be played in the King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman, but were moved to Qatar during the conflict in Iran-Israel.

As a result, the luminaires, which were planned between June 23 and July 5, will now be played in Qatar between 7 and 19 July.
