Project Amarjeet, a free coaching and mentoring initiative launched by Gagan Narang in honor of his mother Amarjeet, announced the distribution of five lakh pellets in a thousand cans to shooters and shooting ranges across India.
The pellets are supplied by Charrey.in, the first charity partner of Project Amarjeet, which is building the largest community platform for air rifle pellet distribution in India. Charrey.in has also created a custom donation link for Project Amarjeet that allows anyone to contribute directly to the training of a shooting sports athlete in India.
Shooters, coaches and academies in need of pellets can write to Project Amarjeet at connect@projectamarjeet.in. Those who wish to contribute to the training of a shooting sports athlete can do so through Project Amarjeet’s donation link on charrey.in.

AIFF signs second MoU with Odisha government
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) and the Odisha government on Friday signed a renewed five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue and expand their elite youth football partnership.
Building on the first MoU signed in November 2023, the AIFF-FIFA Talent Academy has already achieved strong results – a semi-final appearance in the U-17 AIFF Elite Youth League 2024-25, four players in the Indian U-17 National Team lineup and an Odisha girl advancing to the India U19 Women’s National Team – all in less than two years.
The new agreement creates a more structured framework with defined roles, governance, performance benchmarks and financial obligations. Backed by FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme, the academy will continue to integrate international development standards, sports science and clear routes into professional football.
AIFF will lead the technical and operational aspects of player development; DSYS will provide institutional, financial and infrastructural support.
