Striker Bunny Shaw scored twice and midfielder Laura Coombs netted in the final match of her professional career as Manchester City brought the curtain down on their WSL title-winning season with a 4-1 win at West Ham United.
With the Championship secured after challengers Arsenal were held to a draw by Brighton & Hove Albion, City traveled to London intent on ending the season in style, and took an early lead when defender Jade Rose scored in the 13th minute.
Shaw, who has been linked with a move away from City, struck in the 57th and 72nd minutes to take her tally to a record 21 goals, before 35-year-old Coombs scored a fantastic goal in her final game for the club.
City finished on 55 points, four ahead of Arsenal, who defeated Liverpool 3-1 in the last match.

Chelsea’s run of six straight league titles ended this season, but the country still has Champions League football to look forward to after finishing third, with outgoing striker Sam Kerr the winner in a 1-0 win over fourth-placed Manchester United.
Toko Koga scored a goal in stoppage time to give Tottenham Hotspur a 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion. They finished fifth with 36 points, nine ahead of sixth-placed London City Lionesses, who defeated Aston Villa 2–1 after an injury-time goal from Freya Godfrey.
There was another late winner on Merseyside as Maz Pacheco scored in the sixth minute of stoppage time to give her side a 1-0 win over bottom club Leicester City. With the competition set to expand to fourteen teams next season, Leicester will face Charlton Athletic in a promotion/relegation play-off next Saturday.
