Why is East Bengal vs Behala Sporting CFL -Match suspended?


The Premier Division match of the Calcutta Football League (CFL) from East Bengal against Behala SS Sporting, planned for Tuesday, has been postponed due to bad weather, the Indian Football Association (IFA) announced in an official release.

«Due to the ground weather conditions, the competition was held between East Bengal FC and Behala SS on 8 July in Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay Stadium, BarrackPore has been postponed for further message. The revised schedule will be communicated,» said the release.

East Bengal has played two games in its current CFL campaign, Thrashing Measurers Club 7-1 in its campaign opener. But it dropped points in his second game after pulling 1-1 against Suruchi Sangha.

With 39 titles, East Bengal has the highest number of victories in the history of the competition.
