Nigeria will look to build their morale from scratch after missing out on another FIFA World Cup as they play Poland and Portugal in the June international window.
The Super Falcons had a disappointing qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup, failing to secure a spot in the tournament after losing to the Democratic Republic of Congo on penalties in the final match of the CAF play-offs.
Nigeria last played at the World Cup in 2018. In June, the country will face Poland, who also missed out on a World Cup spot after losing to Sweden in the qualifying knockouts.
On the other hand, Portugal will look to complete their preparations for the quadrennial showpiece with the friendly against Nigeria. The team, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, will play Chile on June 6 and Nigeria four days later to conclude the warm-up.
