After one of the most beautiful descents on the trail yet, I finally arrived at the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Between a happy reunion, a burger that could have been sent from the sky, foot baths by the river, and a night at a little house called the Chicken Coop, the 17th was exactly the reset I needed.
