Cristiano Ronaldo was included in the starting line-up for Portugal’s friendly against Chile ahead of the World Cup on Saturday.
The 41-year-old striker from Al Nassr will be given number 227 in the national team and hopes to add to his record of 143 goals.

The experienced striker scored five goals in Portugal’s 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign but had to sit out the 9-1 defeat of Armenia that sealed qualification.
He was not part of the squad for the two friendlies during the March international break due to a hamstring injury.
