FIFA World Cup 2026 warm-up: Scotland beat Bolivia 4-0; player ratings, goals, highlights

Scotland warmed up in style for its return to the World Cup with four goals in the first half to beat Bolivia 4-0 in New Jersey on Saturday.

Lawrence Shankland, Scott McTominay and Che Adams doubled on target for Steve Clarke’s men.

Scotland are a week away from their first World Cup appearance in 28 years against Haiti.

Clarke named a squad close to full strength and got the morale-boosting performance and result he had wanted.

Shankland made his case for a third goal in the last two games against Haiti by heading in Andy Robertson’s cross after five minutes.

New Rangers signed Shankland and then retained McTominay to fire in from the edge of the penalty area.

Bournemouth’s Ben Gannon Doak showed blistering pace as he twice fired home Torino striker Adams from close range before half-time.

Scotland also face Morocco and Brazil in Group C.
