We left Boots Off at 9:45, a little later than planned. Before leaving, however, we weighed our backpacks: 32.5 pounds with four days’ worth of food and two liters of water. Dad weighs 41 pounds, Ferdinand weighs 31 pounds.
After a walk around the lake, we arrived at our lunch spot. But we saw three cars parked along the road. We thought there might be a better place nearby. There sure was! Because there was an amazing magical trail across the street!
Dad and Ferdinand’s injuries are thankfully improving. I want to talk to my dad about a little plan for tomorrow.. stay tuned!
