Tottenham Hotspur has signed Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United on a long-term contract, said the North London club late on Thursday.
Financial details and term of office for the deal were not disclosed, but British media reported that the deal is worth around 55 million pounds (USD 74.59 million), with a six -year contract for the Ghana International, which will be 25 next month.
«One of the most important parts of why I came here is the project and how the manager (Thomas Frank) sees it, and to develop under him,» Kudus said in a statement.
«With the history of where he comes from, I have seen the amount of talent he has developed to become great players. It is a big sign why I also wanted to work among him.»
Spurs mentioned former Brentford boss Frank in June to replace the dismissed Ange Postecoglou.

Kudus came to West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam in 2023 for around 40 million euros (USD 46.70 million) and scored 13 goals and registered 12 assists in two competition seasons at the club.
Although he managed only five goals last season during the disappointing league campaign of West Ham, his explosive energy and dribbling bravery could make him a valuable possession for Frank, who would expect the same counter -falling system that he used in Brentford.
Kudus can have some fences to recover when he arrives in the dressing room of the Spurs.
He received a ban of five games and a fine of 60,000 pounds for violent behavior after a heated fight between players during the West Ham match against Spurs last October.
