What does it feel like to walk uphill for 17 miles? Um…definitely different! That’s something I didn’t do on the Appalachian Trail, so I can’t say I felt prepared for it. The AT has a lot of ups and downs, but without the lack of switchbacks, 17 miles of climbing isn’t really possible.
